Many companies match their employees’ donations to charitable organizations such as the PTO.  You may be able to double your gift at no extra cost to you! Check with your company’s Human Resources department to find out if your company offers this benefit.  Follow your company’s rules and processes for making your donation and requesting the employer match.

If there is a notes or memo section, please indicate which school PTO(s) should receive the donation. Please note that only donations are eligible for matching.  Payments to the PTO for event tickets, spirit wear, concessions, etc. are not considered to be donations and are not eligible for employer matches.

PTO By-Laws and Handbooks
The School District of Clayton is a separate entity from each school’s PTO. However, all PTOs operate under formal by-laws that outline their structure, responsibilities and procedures. These by-laws help ensure that each PTO functions smoothly, transparently and consistently.

The PTO Executive Council regularly reviews the by-laws to ensure they remain current and aligned with how PTOs operate across the District. View the School District of Clayton PTO Bylaws.

Beyond the by-laws, each PTO has its own handbook that outlines who the officers are, when meetings are held and other key information about the organization. View the handbooks below. There may be times when you make purchases to support the PTO and need to request reimbursement. While each school manages this process differently, some offer an online form to submit your request.
