Football Players Sign Letters of Intent
Three Clayton High School seniors signed letters of intent to continue their football careers at the collegiate level this fall during a special ceremony on National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 1. Surrounded by their coaches, family and friends, the students committed to taking their athletic and academic careers to the next level.
Congratulations to the following students:
Joe Taylor - McKendree University
Joe was a First Team All-Conference selection as an offensive lineman. He was also the Greyhounds’ team leader in tackles, sacs and tackles for loss.
Will Keller - Clark Atlanta University
Will was a First Team All-Conference selection as a receiver. This season, Will re-wrote the Clayton record books for a season and a career as he set marks for receptions in a season (67), receptions in a career (102) and yardage in a career (1,465). Will was the area leader in pass receptions at the conclusion of the regular season.
Harold Walehwa - Coe College

Harold Walehwa - Coe College
Harold has been a two-year starter on both the offensive and defensive sides. He has started at various times as a receiver, corner back and safety as well as serving as a kick return specialist. Harold will play both football and lacrosse at Coe.
