CHS Wins Big at St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards
CHS won big at the inaugural St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards at the Fox Theater on May 28. The cast and crew of Hairspray walked away with four wins in the categories of Outstanding Scenic Design (David Blake), Outstanding Musical Direction (Erick Price), Outstanding Supporting Actor (Kamal Lado), and Outstanding Technical Execution (Mallory
Rubin, Samantha Osborne, Conner Bone, Dana Anderson, Ben Blinder, Anna
Sturmoski, Elle Mandrell, Anne Goode, Sam Nakis, Sarah Freedman, Evelyn
Kastner, Jordan Kronemer, Connor Donaldson, Clay Butler, Alivia Jacobs,
Ida Streeto, Charley Waldrop, Dylan Wallach, Amanda Woodworth). The show was also nominated in the categories of Outstanding Direction,
Outstanding Ensemble and Outstanding Orchestra.
