• The Technology and Career Education courses will expose students to the many different career options that are available to them post high school through project based activities. Areas include Business, Culinary, Engineering, Family and Consumer Science, Journalism, and Yearbook. In these courses, students will research college and career options, build technical and problem solving skills, and collaborate with peers to create innovative solutions to problems. The courses are designed with input from industry to give students real world experience and the skills necessary to succeed in college and beyond.


    Listed below are the Enduring Understandings of the Technology and Career Education curriculum.  These are statements that summarize important ideas and core processes that are central to a discipline and have lasting value beyond the classroom.

    • Digital Citizenship: Students understand human, cultural, and societal issues related to technology and practice legal and ethical behavior.
